ROME – The United Nation’s World Food Programme (WFP) has received CAD 12 million (US$8.9 million) from the Government of Canada to support WFP’s Africa Risk Capacity (ARC) Replica initiative, aimed at protecting two million vulnerable people and enhancing gender-sensitive protection from catastrophic climate risks in Africa.
DAKAR – In June, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) kicked off a large-scale emergency food and nutrition assistance operation in the Sahel.
