Ethiopia, Stunting Reduction programming and evidence generation: The Fresh Food Voucher Programme Expansion: Evaluation

This decentralized evaluation is commissioned by the WFP Country Office of Ethiopia. It covers the Fresh Food Voucher Programme Expansion in Amhara Region.

The Programme supports households with pregnant and lactating women/children under 2 years of age to improve their access to fresh food through vouchers.

After a two-year pilot project subject to an evaluation, the Fresh Food Voucher Programme has been expanded to additional districts (woredas) the Amhara region. This evaluation will cover the period from January 2018 to December 2020.

The evaluation is intended for both accountability and learning purposes. It focuses on assessing the relevance/appropriateness, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the Fresh Food Programme. The evaluation questions will be further developed by the evaluation team during the inception phase.
