In 2020, WFP assisted almost 6.9 million people across the country, with 3.7 million people receiving emergency food assistance and 1.5 million receiving cash-based transfers worth nearly US$46 million. WFP intensified and expanded the range of its interventions to assist a broader number of people in need, reaching more than 3.5 million IDPs and host families with food rations across the country.
