As needs remained high in 2019, WFP and the EU continued to work closely together to save and change lives of those affected by conflict, climate change and economic shocks.
In 2019, as WFP continued to work hard to achieve a world free from hunger and assisted nearly 100 million people in more than 80 countries, the EU remained one of our most vital partners. Together, the EU and its Member States contributed a total of over €2.4 billion to WFP.
