Internal Audit of WFP Operations in Palestine - February 2014

As part of its annual work plan, the Office of Internal Audit conducted an audit of WFP operations in Palestine. The audit covered activities from 1 January 2012 to 30 September 2013 and included field visits to various locations in Palestine and a review of related corporate processes that impact across WFP. The audit took place from 11 to 29 November 2013. The audit was carried out in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Internal Audit Report on WFP Operations in the Republic of Mali - February 2014

As part of its annual work plan for 2013, the Office of Internal Audit conducted an audit of the World Food Programme’s (WFP) response to the drought emergency affecting the Sahel region and the Mali conflict crisis. Mali was one of the sample countries selected for the audit. The audit covered activities from 1 January 2012 to 30 June 2013 and included field visits to various locations in Mali and a review of related corporate processes that impact across WFP. The audit fieldwork took place from 19 August to 5 September 2013. The audit was carried out in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Internal Audit Report on WFP Operations in Afghanistan - December 2013

As part of its annual work plan for 2013, the Office of Internal Audit conducted an audit of the World Food Programme’s (WFP) Operations in Afghanistan. The audit covered activities from 1 January to 31 December 2012 and included field visits to various locations in Afghanistan and a review of related corporate processes that impact across WFP. The audit, which took place from 11 February to 6 March 2013, included field visits to the Country Office in Kabul and the Area Offices in Herat and Faizabad. The audit was carried out in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Readers should understand that the publication of these reports does not constitute a waiver, express or implied, of WFP's immunities as set out in the Convention on the Privileges and immunities of the United Nations, 1946, the Convention on the Privileges and immunities of the Specialized Agencies, 1947, customary international law, other relevant international or national agreements, or under domestic law.
