The consequences of the conflict in Ukraine are radiating outwards, triggering a wave hunger that is spreading across the globe. That’s why singer Vianney has joined the UN World Food Programme, and is calling for donations to help  who urgently need food.

“Everywhere, prices are going up and of course some areas are more affected than others such as Ethiopia, the Sahel, Syria” says Vianney in his humanitarian message.

The French artist also speaks up for people in Yemen, a country experiencing one of the worst humanitarian crises ever.

In Yemen “People are eating things like tree leaves to survive as food has become unaffordable. The situation is only getting worse there, but we can all somehow help “, says Vianney.

Children and families facing hunger need your help now more than ever.

Acute hunger is expected to rise by 47 million people in 81 countries if the conflict in Ukraine continues. Increases in food and oil prices, which have been further strained by the war in Ukraine, are reducing our ability to serve those in need right now when the world faces a year of unprecedented hunger.

By donating to the UN World Food Programme, you can help us provide a lifeline for starving families around the world.
