Today, WFP is uniting with leading food multinationals to focus like a laserbeam on the urgent challenge of child malnutrition

The science is clear. If children do not receive the nutritious food they need in the first two years of life, the damage is irreversible. Now we are acting through a groundbreaking, multi-million dollar initiative to produce a scalable, replicable model of how best to break child malnutrition at its root.

Project Laserbeam will look at critical gaps in nutrition, food security and hygiene and ways to bridge them.

Together with many committed partners around the world, we know we can defeat the hunger, malnutrition and related causes that kill thousands of children around the world every day.
