The objective of this evaluation was to analyse the current food security situation of the Colombian population. Between June and November 2022, the World Food Programme completed the assessment and conducted a total of 8,232 household surveys, ensuring representative samples at the departmental level and at the urban and rural levels for the national total. These surveys were carried out in 29 departments, including the capital district and 118 municipalities.
